This month’s Swim Recruiting Myths & Realities is taking a fun little detour. One of the reasons coaches, parents and recruits trust Swimcloud is because of our continual efforts to identify and stay ahead of trends in recruiting. This month we’re pulling the curtain back a bit to share one of the things we discovered while looking back over the past year. We’ll also give you a sneak peek to some new changes at Swimcloud. But first, a couple of updates:

  • Good News / Bad News: First the good. Northern Kentucky is relaunching swimming with an estimated 40 new 40 Division I opportunities. NKU joins William Carey, Lake Superior State, UTRGV and Dordt as new teams next year. Unfortunately,. Lindenwood University’s decision to eliminate swimming means 50-60 athletes must look elsewhere to continue their swimming career.

  • Championship Season: With less than three weeks until the first of 93 high school state and 78 college conference championships, now is the time for you to see where you stand.…
